Dr. Rogers is a native of Oklahoma who was brought up on a ranch raising cattle and Thoroughbred racehorses. He competed heavily in combined training and three-day events throughout high school and college.

  After receiving his bachelor degree in agriculture from Oklahoma State University he attended and graduated from the Oklahoma State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. He then practiced medicine on the farms and ranches of Oklahoma before trading those prairies for the mountains of north Idaho.

  Dr. Rogers practiced veterinary medicine for the past nine years in a progressive mixed animal practice in the Spokane Valley prior to forming Kootenai Animal Hospital.

  In his free time Dr. Rogers enjoys the outdoors and exploring the Idaho backcountry.
